BEYOND THE LINE: A SPECIAL DINING EXPERIENCE BY CHEF SHAUNA

About the event

My Inspiration

SC Catering LLC has officially been in business since July 2020. I have catered to many events over the years, but never hosted one of my own. My inspiration behind creating this event is based off my eagerness and drive to make my business excel in ways it hasn't before. These events are the perfect opportunity to experience what my business has to offer.

Expectation Reflection

'Beyond the Line' event number one was a beautiful outdoor affair. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a hostess, who is checking to see if their name was on the list. Once guests were checked in, they were directed to their seating. 


Service began shortly after everyone was seated and greeted with ice cold water. Guests were blown away after fine dining through three-courses of this menu! Expectations were exceeded, and I was overall filled with joy!

About The menu

Signature Cocktail

Bubbly, fruity, smooth,  and sure to get the vibe going!


The base of this contains Prosseco, Grenadine, Pineapple Juice.


The ‘mocktail’ version of this is available using club soda!

Appetizer: Creamy Potato and Leek Soup

This smooth, creamy, and flavorful soup is served with a toasted garlic and herb French baguette.

 (There was an option for the vegan version of this with no cream!)

Entree: Yakitori Chicken Skewers, Turmeric Rice, Julienned Stir Fry Vegetables

Beautiful Japanese inspired dish. The vegetables include bell peppers, onion, snow peas, and carrots. It is served with a Yakitori glaze, crispy leeks and chives as the garnish.

(This dish contains soy. There was a choice of salmon.  There wasa a vegan alternative using coconut aminos and skewered cauliflower instead of chicken.)

Dessert: Classic Cheesecake with Strawberry Coulis

Smooth and creamy cake, topped with a sweet and sour strawberry Coulis.




Dessert: Peach Cobbler - VEGAN/VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY

Who says vegan desserts can’t be tasty??

Vegan peach cobbler served with vegan vanilla ice cream.
